Intro to Woodworking
Intro to Woodworking will focus on developing skills for commonly used wood shop machines and tools to create a finished piece that utilizes only wood-to-wood glue joints. These skills will increase confidence in utilizing the planer, table saw, drill press, and router table as well as creating a competency on glue-ups and wood finishing.
Students should wear clothing that they won’t mind getting dust and glue on. Closed toe shoes required, and hair should be worn up. PPE will be provided by Maker Playground.
