Household Heroes
Monthly classes, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday nights
Are you a novice when it comes to household repairs and maintenance? Would you like to avoid calling a handyman when something goes wrong at home? Our Household Heroes classes are designed to provide you with instruction and the skills to fix simple household projects on your own. Expect to learn how to repair drywall, plumbing fixes, basic electrical wiring, tool usage, and more!
No Maker Playground membership required. This class is open to all regardless of skill and expertise! We will supply all necessary tools and instruction.

June 17, 2026 – Doorknob + Lockset Installation

Learn how to install doorknobs and locksets using the following tools: drills, chisels and hammers, screwdrivers, levels, and a tape measure and pencil. All materials provided.
