MIG Welding

MIG Welding classes at Maker Playground cover the basic concepts and safety procedures of MIG welding in a five-part series. Students will learn about safe welding practices, basic operation of our multi-function welders, and using basic MIG techniques to weld steel.

Classes 1 and 2 will focus mainly on safe attire and equipment practices prior to welding, and 3,4, and 5 will focus on practicing welding techniques and completing a simple coupon test. By the end of this class, students will be able to safely complete basic welds using MIG welding.
