Household Heroes
Monthly classes, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday nights
Are you a novice when it comes to household repairs and maintenance? Would you like to avoid calling a handyman when something goes wrong at home? Our Household Heroes classes are designed to provide you with instruction and the skills to fix simple household projects on your own. Expect to learn how to repair drywall, plumbing fixes, basic electrical wiring, tool usage, and more!
No Maker Playground membership required. This class is open to all regardless of skill and expertise! We will supply all necessary tools and instruction.

April 16: Doorknob + Lockset Installation
What: Become a pro at making drywall repairs of all sizes in your home. Learn the basics of patching drywall, what and how to cut materials, plaster and drywall mud, and more! All materials provided. No Maker Playground Membership required, but registration required.

May 14: Simple Electrical Wiring
What: Learn by completing a simple wiring project like outlets or dimmer switches using the following tools: wire cutters/strippers, screwdrivers, and receptacle testers. All materials provided. No Maker Playground Membership required, but registration required.

June 11: Cut + Install Molding
What: Learn how to cut and install various types of molding including crown, casing, baseboard, and stop molding. All materials provided. No Maker Playground Membership required, but registration required.
