Discover how ideas become real objects in this hands-on introduction to 3D printing! Designed for ages 10 to 15, this class explores the history of 3D printing, how modern printers work, and the exciting ways this technology is used in the real world.
Students will learn basic 3D modeling in Tinkercad, explore different printing materials, prepare a model using slicing software, and pick up professional tips for creating successful prints. Through hands-on activities, group discussions, and a live 3D printing demonstration, students will build practical skills while learning how to use 3D-printing technology safely and creatively. No previous experience is required!
