Spring Break Art Camp

Register now for Fishers Parks' just-announced Spring Break Art Camp!

Spring Break Art Camp

April 1-5 | 9 to 4:30 p.m. | Ages 8-13 | $295 per person

Our spring break art camp is offered in partnership with artist Jeanette P. Parssi and are modeled after Fishers Parks' acclaimed summer camp program.

Campers in this program will spend the first half of each day (9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) learning new art techniques and completing art-based projects and activities, ending with an art show for family and friends on Friday. From 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. each day, campers will experience a more traditional day-camp setting, with a variety of fun and educational activities, from outdoor play, exploration, and games to STEM, music, and more!

Camp Curriculum: Five Continents in Five Days - A Journey Around the Globe

Campers will “travel” around the globe visiting 5 continents in 5 days during the camp week doing art projects drawn from the cultures of a variety of countries. This portion of the camp day (9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) will be divided into two 1.5-hour art sessions with a 30-minute snack break between them. The art sessions would include an introduction to the culture through a short visual presentation, explanation of the project, then time time to create.
